Chile Ancho 50gr
Ancho chiles are the result of sun-drying poblano chiles. Sweet and smoky with a flavour slightly reminiscent of raisins, their heat is mild to medium-hot. You could also use a spice grinder to grind dried ancho chiles into a powder to use in spice rubs or make mole, enchilada sauce, and chilli. This process gives the chile different characteristics such as red colour, almost black and wrinkled skin.
